Have a Whirlpool 6th Sense washing machine. When on highest heat setting - 90 degrees, which we only use for towels, water leaks from the soap tray during the wash cycle. This does not happen at 60 or 40 degrees.
It only has a cold water fill (no hot tap connection) we use soap liquid that goes into a ball and then in with the clothes, do not use soap powder, just conditioner and have cleaned the tray - not that it needed it.

Any suggestions please

Post the service number (12 digits & starts with 85_ _). You will find it on the door sticker.

If water drips from the underside of the soap tray (& only on 90C wash) I imagine it could be caused by by the soap drawer not being fully seated in it's recess. On high temp washes it could cause condensed steam to run out of the bottom lip under the soap tray. Try taking the soap tray completely out & check around the front edges of the tray slot for dried powder/congealed conditioner that might hinder the tray from seating fully.

Thanks Zipper, unfortunately the tray looks brand new, probably as we have never used it for powder etc, Wife uses the ball that goes in the drum.
