water leeking into hot tap

I have water dripping out of a hot tap when its open. If closed its leaks out of the over flow .

I have put new taps on immersion heater and cold feed into tank.

Not sure yet if its cold or hot water leaking but with two new taps it should not leek hot water

anyone heard of this

are they mixers, if so the disk/washer needs changing

no we only turn on tap in sink because for some reason water leeks into overflow, so by turning on tap then it leeks into waste, have turned off feed to immertion tank and tap for feed from hot water when its turned off you get a dribble when it turned on its as it should be

forgot to say there is mixer taps on bath, but if water is off where dos it come from
