Hi guys,

Please help!

I have a combi boiler with around 10 rads. the central heating system works fine. My issue is with the hot water. When opening the hot water downstairs, i get no hot water upstairs. However, when opening the cold water downstairs, i am still able to get cold water upstars.

Please advise! Many thanks

Welcome to combi boilers!

It is quite normal for the hot water to behave this way as it will take the easiest route.

Cold water will be unaffected as it is under mains pressure. :D

is there no solution then? a water pump maybe?

You cannot pump hot water from a combi.

Only use one hot water outlet at a time. ;)

You could, of course, fit a high flow rate combi - but I expect this isn't the sort of answer the OP was hoping for.
