Water under suspended floor

Hi

After recently inspecting the subfloor after my wife noticed a (musty smell especially if we had been away for a few days and were returning home)

We have noticed that after heavy rain there is water pooling around where the ducting carrying the BT line is entering our home under the floor void to the master socket.

By the looks of things this has been happening for years, but what sort of damage could this have done to the property.

The void under the floor seems to be well ventilated with air bricks (although there are no air bricks by the actual water leak) but would the water that is leaking from the ducting onto the subfloor cause any damage to the structure of the building/floor? and how would you check?

You don't say what the sub floor (solum?) is constructed from, Assuming it's not simply compacted inert material which would naturally drain, my choise would be concrete??...Simply tap this with something like a steel rod and listen for any difference between the affected area and bordering areas. That should tell you if there's anything to worry about...pinenot
