What Part of my Electricity is this?

Hi

Apologies for the basic question but my lights and sockets have started to flicker and have narrowed it down to a wobbly part next to my electricity metre.

Not sure if it needs replaced but would first like to know what it's called and does! Have attached a photo - the part says series 7 on it.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Supplier fuse or cutout.
Find which DNO covers your area here: http://www.energynetworks.org/info/faqs/electricity-distribution-map.html
and call them to repair/replace it.

And do it first thing tomorrow morning - today's flickering because of a flaky cutout is tomorrows fire.
