Hi guys we have an oven bought in 2005.

It seems to be heating up but not to full temperature.

I'm not sure what the model number is. Here is some of the info from the manual:

Whirlpool/IKEA
Type FCSM6
Mod 000 947 44
OBI B10/S

I've googled these with varying results. Other models show up too.

There's a red thermostat led on the front. Assuming this is correct still it's heating to about 150C when on full power (250C)

I've put the grill on to see if there's an element gone but the whole top element seems to glow.

According to the manual there's a bottom hidden element.

I'm wondering if it's definitely this that's gone, or should i check for other things.

Is the lower element a tricky thing to replace myself?

any idea on what part i need? (i'm not definite about the model number.)

Cheers

Can anyone help?

Just to know how hard it is to change an element would be a big help

Thanks
