watching a news clip recently, of a 'celebrity' marriage in a small village.

there were cordons and a police presence, controlling the crowds etc.

any taxpayer or citizen for that matter is entitled to a certain level of protection, i'm sure.

but who coughs up for these big fancy celebrity affairs?

is it the taxpayer or the celeb.?

The Time Lords. They invest during the 12th century and then get the interest up until the present day. Quids in.

I just read yours when your missus bent over. Wow!

Are you two posting from different computers in the same room?

the celebs pay. they are normally charged out at a certain daily rate, which means the authority makes money on it. The police used are normally on overtime so not taken off of the normal day to day policing. It used to happen regualary when i was copper with film locations and football as well

Yeah.

Anyone can rent a Policeman for the day, bit expensive though - last I heard it was about £400 for an 8 hour shift.

All the money goes back into the Police Authority coffers.

Can i rent a policewoman for the night? Will she wear her uniform? ;) :D

Course you can, a

lthough suspecting your intentions you will probably end up in a cold 8 X 8 room before a trip to the Assizes!
