Reminds me of when I was young. I was in a band and the landlord of the local pub used to let us practice above the pub for free, so long as.............................we played Wild Thing at the end of the set with him on vocals :LOL:

Yes, another one from the golden age of British music gone. How many bands of that era are still touring/performing? Stones come to mind, but their numbers are dwindling now.

Saw them in '91 on a triple bill with Rod Stewart and Joe Cocker. Quite a line-up for a single concert. have seen Quo more recently too.

About time I had another helping. Air guitar getting a bit out of tune! ;)
 
What a legend Wildthing a real piece of rock history a track that will never die, I must try and learn to play it.
 
Went to a mate's funeral last year. It was at a crematorium. As the coffin started going down on the automatic platform near the end , Quo's Down, Down started belting out.

Everyone burst out laughing, before we realised where we were. Suppose that was the intention.

Way to go.
