How do I wire the 3 wires from old Sunvic tlx 2259 temperature stat to the new tower rfnp thermostat which has 5 terminals. Old wires are in live neutral and a yellow wire. The new options are L N and 3,4,5. Tried different combinations but nothing seems to work. The new receiver has power and seems to connected to the separate temp unit but it does turn on the central heating... Any help advise appreciated

First of all stop the trial and error method. If you create a short circuit you are very likely to cause damage to your programmer / timeswitch.

The Sunvic tlx 2259 has the connections as below:

From the above, you can identify each wire:

The wire in terminal 3 is the 'Live'
The wire in terminal 1 is the 'Switched Live'
The wire in terminal 4 is the 'Neutral'

Once you have identified each wire they connect to the Tower rf receiver like this:

So the 'Live' wire goes to (2) L
The Neutral wire goes to (1) N
The 'Switched Live' wire goes to (4) NO
Finally you will need to add an additional wire link between the (2) L and (3) COM terminals.
