Hi,

We have just moved in to a new house where a combi boiler has been installed.

It is the worcester 28i junior model which was discontinued in 2005.

Our problem is (apart from the terrible pressure in the bathroom)that there is no programmer installed or room stat attached so the only way to use it is to turn it on manually

Can anybody provide us with some information about adding a room stat and programmer to our unit - is it possible?

IF possible how do i find out what model no. etc.....

It's possible to fit an external heating control.
The best practice is to fit a programmable room thermostat. If the area where the stat has a radiator then the thermostatic radiator valve needs to be removed.
As this is a retro-fit it might be easier and quicker to install a wireless one so that there is minimum disruption to your fixtures and fittings as the heating engineer won't have to lift floorboards, drill joists etc.
Best bet is to get a heating installer around to give you a price.
