Hi, my Worcester 9.24 boiler works fine with just the central heating on, however when i start using the hot water for the shower it makes a lot of noise before cutting out. this happens more frequently when the central heating is off, and occasionally when the heat is on. Anyone have any idea why? Thanks

Restricted flow through the hot water circuit as a guess probably in the calorifier
is that something that can be repaired etc?

Agree with plumbplumb, sounds like the calorifier restricted. You might be able to add some cleanser to it. But most likely it will need changed.
