hi
My 83 year old mother has worcester bosch combi 230 RSF boiler .
6/8 weeks a go i had to go and reset the boiler as it was locked out. After reset it behaved well until today and i had to go and rest again for it to work.. Unfortunately she can not confirm exactly when the lock out happens! She is of the opinion that when she used for hot water it was working and when she went to get hot water after few hours the boiler would not fire.Is the problem related to overheat thermostat? or something else? any advise/ will be appreciated.
thanking in advance .

best thing is for you to be there as going through her to you to here, you will get no where

possibly pump over run not working or sticky divertor valve

it must be clocking on now ;)
thanks kevplum
While i was there i noticed the pump over run was functioning and also the diverter valve with the micro switch which was replaced i think last february was no problem i checked it few times.
You are spot on it is clocking on it is 12 years old !! regretfully can only look at replacement next summer.(last nov it has had prv-expansion ves-little piglets (Flow/return) and filling loop- airvent and diverter valve as mentioned)
