How do.
Contemplating re-tilling the mother-in-laws bathroom in the next month or so. Been looking into tanking products. They seem to fall into 2 types of using either a paint-on liquid membrane or a bed-in fabric/mesh membrane.
The main ones I've been looking at are the Dunlop liquid membrane (using tape re-inforcement at corners) and the BAL tanking kit which uses the fabric + corner and edge tape + bedding compound.
Are there any draw backs to choosing one over the other? Has anyone got any experience of using one or the other (or both)?
The Dunlop one appeals to me as it appears to be cheaper and much less effort. Great for the lazy arse!
Cheers.
