scantronic 9800 turning off downstairs electricity

first, I'd like to thank everyone and 'europlex' in particular for providing excellent answers and help over the years.

I just need to trip the circuit to put in a new light fitting, the alarm and everything downstairs is on the same fuse, and the manual doesn't cover this.

It is likely straightforward, but I dont feel confident to experiment. grateful for any clarity offered.

Turn it off,panel will bleep from keypad it will say pf As long as the battery is ok, do your light fitting turn it back on , enter code and press clear . All back to normal..
