Why, what is wrong?
well i set the two zones of the keypad to numbers 11 & 12 all seems fine but they have not been "seen" as when i have the zones open, the panel sets ok and when they are closed after panel sets it doesnt go into alarm when i open the zone, is there a step by step guide for mapping the zones?
i pick the keypad (no.4) press no, set the zones to 11 & 12 press yes to store set the zones up as guard etc but nothing

think i have worked it out in my head, may go back to the job tomorrow, the two zones off the keypad have four terminals and i have wired it "normally closed" with the tamper in one pair and the zone in the other, this i thinks needs to be set up as "double pole" i think at the moment both the tamper and the zone needs to be open to cause an alarm

You say zones are open and the system sets.
When set they go closed and nothing happens.
Tamper and open zone for an activation.
I think you have to have a read of the manual.
Plus an understanding of circuits, and electricity.
In fact stop playing with something you do not understand.
