Fixing pavers to concrete step

Hi,

I have made a step from the lounge french window to the patio of breeze block and concrete. Very adequate for the job, but we thought it would look prettier if we put some red brick pavers on top.

My question is, what's best to fix them to the concrete step? Mix up some sand and cement, or one of those grab adhesives?

Sand/cement every time.

Don't lay it too thick or else you risk the paviors 'floating' about due to their lack of frogs or perf's.

If the slabs are very dry, dampen the underside before laying - it improves the bond

Put some sbr in the mix for extra grab
