Hi
I have a house that has previously been painted in a very thick Sandtex (I/m guessing) paint. The bottom is flaking but the rest is stuck like glue. I have to remove it because the house is an earth inner house/brick outer and it is stopping it 'breathing'.
Any ideas?
I've been told by two builder to not get it sandblasted/bead blasted because the bricks behind wont stand upto it (a cream brick). The house is 1830's.
Has anyone used the peelaway product? Will I need the 1 or 7 series and how long do you leave once you put the blanket on?

Any other ideas welcome.Cheers

I've used peelaway on cast iron fireplaces and it's brilliant stuff, I tend to leave it on for 24 hours but you might get away with less on brickwork. Do a small test first,
