I have some metal trunking running around my workshop feeding sockets and sub boards etc and I need to add a new small sub board for some machines.. Can I use tri-rated singles in the trunking to supply the feed for the sub board? I have lots of it so may as we'll try use it!

Yup. Don't use a CCC for it at > 70°C though.
