Hi Ya,

I have a Creda (model:79161) installed in my living room, which suddenly stopped overnight and as a result my living is cold. Please help me, I have tried different option.

I have even opened the unit

the thermal fuse in the top by the control knobs?

The thermal fuse that connects the input of the thermostat has melted and there was a melted metal stuff. Could this be the cause.

will it work after I replace it and how easy is it to replace one?

Please Help!!!!

Many Thanks,

Ash

If the link has melted then it is more than likely that the thermostat has failed closed. This will need replacing before a new link can be fitted.

The other common reason for these to fail is people drying clothing or towels on top of the heater.
