I've been knocking through into the extension today, with a fair bit of hammering and banging.

The bathroom is very close to where I've knocked through. Gone to have a shower tonight to get cleaned off...a couple of minutes in, the temperature dropped right down to barely lukewarm.

Its an old Triton Opal, which has been faultless for ten years ! I know I'm pushing my luck due to its age, but could this just be a coincidence, or have I more likely disturbed something? If so, is it fixable, or is it new shower time?

One step forward.....two steps back !

Cheers all.

You've either got a failed element or the outlet tco has failed.

Check the elements for resistance.
Check the outlet tco for continuity.

If both these test ok then more likely the pcb has failed on one element.

Thanks for the reply...due to the age of the shower I've ordered a replacement.

Many thanks for your time though.

Just got to get the 6mm cable swapped to 10mm now

And possibly change the circuit beaking device, and possibly add an RCD, and possibly change the isolation switch, but definitely get the circuit tested.
