Floor sanding and painting - the trials and tribulations

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forums and I would like to share my experience of renovating the wooden floor in the bedroom of my recently purchased flat. I hope that it might entertain, and also inform - about what not to do!

Haha. Deluks, I'm afraid we are! But room in question is at the top of the flat so there is a floor inbetween and the sanding was done during working hours on a weekday.
