You've bought a 40kW biomass boiler and haven't spent one penny on any sort of system design?

Wow.

Best of luck.

Why do you need a 40 kW boiler?

What is the total rad power output?

Are you aware that Building Control probably want to be involved?

1. i live in a cold place. plenty is better than just enough around 28-32 kw

2. house 220 m stone walls with little insulation 100 year +

3. up here (in the woods) we can please ourselves

orlan super 40 with prosat 2000 ltr buffer
two Polish guys delivered it a couple of weeks back couldent speak a word of english i asked them where they got the ferrie to over the channel the sea the water they looked at 1 another and said
Peterburough

There is no point of having 40 kW of boiler unless you have 40 kw of radiators!

A typical semi needs 11 kW of heating power!

i have plans
i have workshop that cold be done with a little heat in the winter also thought i could run some heat to the green house
mabe have a miniture botanic garden
so rest asured no kw will be wasted
trouble with this old houses is the lack of insulation behind the walls
cost nearly the price of a new build to strip back to bare stone to insulate

You having a senior moment Agile?
He's fitting a buffer which should absorb the full output of the boiler and act as a thermal flywheel.

German law (BlmSchV) requires a minimum capacity of 25 litres per kW of boiler output.
The OP has 50 so that keeps him in full compliance and then some.

even so, he could do that with a correctly sized boiler...and save some up front money!

Two poles have already delivered it straight from poland, so he's avoided the uk sharks. Thats the best money he'll ever save up front!

Get them to fit it, and save yourself a few more quid

me no understand

may need a little help with connection to existing radiator circut but will post any questions nearer the time just in process of building boiler house probably october before i have time to plumb it up
