I have to fit a toilet seat to a 'back to the wall' Pan.

I eventually managed to get the panel covering the concealed cistern removed.

SO now i can get my hand under to release the old seat nuts,, or so I thought
I can't access them.. the lower panel only has holes for the waste/flush..
crazy..

I will have to pull the Pan away from the Wall..

IS this easy ? and pushing it back again ?

any advice appreciated.

I will also think of putting a newer cistern - with those buttons..

The seat could/should have been fitted with top-fix hinges.

crikey , thank you Charnwood , .. never new such a thing existed.

its a wooden seat that is on just now. maybe the original was .

would i still be able to fit a top fix kind , by removing the old wooden one..

could i push the old nuts down and fit one of these , that would solve pulling away the pan..

thanks :)

Can't see that being a problem. The nuts can sit in the void for ever and a day.
