I am laying underfloor heating pipes, followed by a sand and cemend screed.
I have read that the pipes need to be under pressure whilst the screed is layed and dries.
Is this really nesessary. There are no joints under the screed. I will heat the floor up fully and allow to cool before tiling to get any possible cracking out of the way.
I cannot connect the pipes to the manifoild as the walls are not plastered and there is no roof on the extension yet.
