Hi,
I have just moved into a new house which has a potterton suprima 40 boiler. The thing is I've been told by one person it's a combi boiler and by someone else it's not! I'm confused? Also I'm unsure on how to work the timer that is with it. I can't set the water differently to the heating.

Many thanks for any answers?

The Suprima is a heat only boiler, which indicates you have a cylinder to store hot water. Open a few doors and you may find a cylinder. As my crystal ball is in for service I won't be able to help you with your timer instructions.
With so little info what did you expect?

Or linked to a Boilermate, hence the reference to Combi boiler as the Boilermate has a plate HE for mains fed HW just like a Combi!! ;)

BM2 your'e being picky there. Boilermate 11, plate heat exch? ;)
If a Suprima fires up instantly you turn the tap on I'll eat me at.

Pete, that was Armo asking about instant hot water from a Suprima!
