Help please!!

I've repressurised my boiler and now the key is stuck! It has a warning on the key to remove before using the system again. As I can't get it out am I ok to turn the boiler back on for now or is it dangerous/going to damage the boiler?Please advise as it's freezing!!

These keys can break sometimes. Just make sure you have tightened the white nut so no water is passing by. You can fire it up then. Get an rgi out to replace the filling loop assembly.

I've finally managed to get it out, I needed to turn the key a fraction further round!

Use silicone grease or vaseline on the key next time you use it.
