hi all,
I was looking for some advice on how to treat the copious amount of moss on my roof.
I will probably get a new roof done once I have saved up the money. Therefore I don't want to spend a lot of money on it now having it professionally treated.
I was thinking of spraying it with moss killer - is this a good idea?
Cheers,
Huw

TBH that's not a lot of moss at all really.

A stiff broom should shift a good deal of it as long as you can get to it safely and if you are worried about it blocking the gutter get a `Gutter Hedgehog' which are inexpensive and easy to fit

thanks for replying.

I didn't fancy brushing it as
a) I was worried about damaging the brittle-looking tiles
b) it would be tricky to get access to the whole roof

Do you not recommend spraying with moss killer? I was worried it might damage the felt underneath.

Thanks again for your help.

Don`t worry about -1 the moss 2 a new roof ;) . It all looks fine to me - not like my roof that had loads of spalled clay tiles
