Your best better is to create a youtube account and upload your video there and post the link or grab the embed code and post the video on the thread as below:

How do you make it show in the DIYNot post?

You need to put these:---->[youtube]<----> [/youtube]<--- on either side of the link.[/b]

It would look like this before to post it: "[youtube] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAwtsomiOp4&feature=youtu.be [/youtube]" (but no spaces on either side of the link!)
