Hello

Hopefully this is a simple question to answer - its just not one I've seen asked :)

I need to tile a splash back around the bath of a house I'm buying. It's a 1930s house with brick/plaster walls. I've researched how to tile and I'm looking forward to learning as I go. However one thing I've not been able to confirm is how I can fix my guide batons to the plaster wall.

Plaster is hard so I assume that I'd need to drill, plug and screw the batons on, but for something so temporary will nails work?

I'd rather get advice before I find out the hard way ;)

Thanks for your help

Masonry nails may be ok for the job, 3 inch preferably and don't hit them all the way in as you may struggle to remove them.
