In the past I've used pellets of an anti-rot treatment, which were inserted into holes drilled in timber. They released a chemical when exposed to moisture. I've been unable to find them in obvious outlets and wondered if anyone might know a source. Thanks, CP.
If you can't find them, you could always drill holes and use a pipe and funnel to pour chemicals in, which will seep into the wood over a period of time.
