I've knocked down a wall next to a stairwell, and will be putting in a glass balustrade.
I will be laying a new wooden floor over the existing floor, so without any kind of edge finishing, you're going to see a cross section of the board ends when you're standing on the stairs.
What're some options for covering this over? I assume beading of some sort.
I've got the same issue for the stairs themselves, as I want to cover the top and front of each tread in the same wood. Not sure how to finish the end that shows at the front of the top of the tread? |
