Flagstone removal

The garage of our new home was enclosed with cinder block, which was then covered with flagstone. The flagstone was extended to cover the whole wall surrounding the garage and also used on the stucco wall on the other side of the house to match the garage wall. We are in the process of removing the garage wall and installing a new garage door. We would like to remove the flagstone from the other side of the house and the area surrounding the garage. How can we remove the flagstone without damaging the stucco underneath?
