It might be the actuator that is causing the prob, maybe best to just renew as its a PITA to get off with the gear box in place.

For your info, ERG means EXHAUST GAS RE_CIRC VALVE. Which can cause over run problems, i,e, missfiring. This happens on all Vauxhalls. Can be cured by cleaning said valve.

All Vauxhalls? Petrol and Diesel lol??


On the 1.3CDTI it generally puts the engine light on and makes it run rough/underpowered.
