I have just changed the battery due to a bF code being displayed. Now the system will not reset and the DAY led stays off even though I have not activated the system.

try powering down the system (mains isolate first, then battery)

depeat tamper switch and then power back up, battery first then mains and then see what happens

I had one of those yesterday. Not a customer of mine and when I powered up it showed 'rr' (engineer reset required) so I had to reprogramme the bloody thing.
