Nexus alarm hell!!

Hi this is probably a basic question but hey ho...my nexus 8 alarm is currently flashing between bt and rr now this may have something to do with the fact that the internal box was disturbed!! does anyone no how to reset a bell tamper as I've entered the code to reset and nowt happens

If the fault is still there it wont reset. You will need to clear the bell tamper or link it out.

On many panels 'rr' means engineer reset required.

This is where my "blonde gene" kicks in!!!....how do I clear the bell tamper do I open the panel box.

Try searching for Lintek or Protec fire detection (same building/same companies).

They should be able to tell you.

On the bottom of the pcb left hand side is says BELL/STROBE.
The 2 terminals on the left marked TPR and -HOLD. Link these together. That will link out the bell tamper.
