We need to move the main control panel for Accenta G3. How can it be turned off in order to do this but not leave the alarm bell ringing until the sytem is reconnected. There is a fused spur switch next to the control panel which will also be moved.

first things first
get yourself a ladder!!!
remove mains supply and battery from panel,
get up the ladder, remove cover from external sounder, disconnect the BATTERY from the sounder module,
don't remove any other cabling from the sounder module.
then proceed to move you panel,
ensure that you make a note of were EVERY cable and connection go.
after, recconnect all cabling, test as you go with a multimeter, then power they system up, battery first then mains
and please be aware that 240 v can and will kill you if you do not work safe. isolate the supply and work with the circuit OFF.
