can anyone recommend local Aerial firm inexpensive and reliable!. Live in Finchley.London N3

Am having double glazing and cables need changing. Also I cant record digital stations. Do I need to have a special aerial.

I have an outdoor 43 element high gain aerial with amplifier and video.

When you say you can't record digital,do you mean on a VCR? If so you can only record the channel you are watching, if connected right. If you want to record all channels you need a DVD recorder which has a built in digital tuner.

NO!

You need a "digital TV recorder" - freeview probably (rather than freesat)

Most are now hard drive based and most definitely NOT DVD!

If you're intending on using that recorder to also decode for tv watching and you want to watch one channel while recording another, you need one with dual tuners.
