Workmate spare parts

Does anyone know if the early version of the plastic grip (small black triangular looking thing) is interchangeable with the more recent version (larger orange block thing)?

Do any of the well-known high street merchants sell these spare parts?

yes i have both on both old and new workmates

5 or so years ago they were £5 for four at b n q

the orange ones are more sturday and give twice as much support

The only place I've found so far, that sells these things, is ToolShop Direct (and they sell every conceivable spare for every Workmate ever made), but they charge £3 each. I've tried many outlets like B&Q, Homebase, and Jewson branches, but no luck with these.
