bricking up poured concrete bin storage area

hi all.
i am diy novice.
need some advice with bricking up the external poured concrete door area.
the plan is to brick up the front then knock though the back wall, so that a small shower cubicle can be installed. any major do's and dont's. ( apart from dont do it )

Remove all the wood and then brick it up.

Sheet off the house wall from the inside and do the knocking through from the outside. Then brick up the door. Will save a lot of mess in the house.

As you are creating new habitable space you will need to bring insulation etc up to current Building Regs levels. You will need suitable temporary (props) and permanent (lintel) support for the opening.
