Which paint for timber windows

Hi all

Got about 14 timber windows including bay windows that need rubbing down, repairing and re-painting.

Will all be down in white, what would be the recommended paint for undercoat (where needed) and top coat?

If you want a decent job why not try one of the Weathershield paint systems or similar, you use their own primer , undercoat, and gloss in order. Expensive but quite good stuff.

Would the windows need to be sanded back, or just keyed?

If the windows are not flaking then just a good sand will suffice.
