You want a gap between pan and cistern to make sure that the donut washer is tight between them.

The gap dosent go when u tighten up bolts underneath thou, if that's the gap that's left Permenantly I can't believe people have these fitted they look horrendous!

Went and bought a different type from huws, fitted straight away, no issues with leaks, about 30 mins to fit! I then spent the rest of the day back at wickes opening boxes from that range to check the donut washer, turns out the wrong one was packed and there was actually supposed to be a thinner one but still different to one I fitted. so after an arguement with management on wasting my time I got a £25 voucher and an apology, not that it makes up for the day I've wasted!
