Hi

Can anyone give me any advice about boarding up a glass pane above an internal door? I've been advised to get some wood cut to size & stick it on both sides of the pane. Is this easy/any tips to make it look neat & not bodged? I'm very new to diy so any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If your not removing the glass yes. I would do as you have been advised and once the wood is in place, I would trim around the edges with beading to secure in place and neaten up.

Even if it is clear you can get fablon to make it look frosted.

Thanks! Unfortunately I painted horribly over the glass so it looks awful & I need to cover it to block out the light anyways. What is beading?
