Problem with Baxi Combi 105e

I have now twice tried to turn the heating off timed as summer is fast approaching!!! However whenever I do this we seem to also lose hot water. Any ideas as to why?

have you turned the selector switch to just the hot tap symbol

Why would that make a diffence? Its a combi.

i was trying to establish how they had turned it to "just hot water mode" as they may have put the selector into the off position thus not giving them hot water

we have been turning it onto hot water only, but we are now going to try leaving it on combi but with the heating off. Hopefully it will wotk if not I will be back for more ideas. Thanks
