Flexiale bath fitting....

i was told i could use a flexible fitting for my bath connections,,,a bit like speed fit...however these are white and nylon wrapped.
I have connected one end to the bath taps and the other to a 22mm copper pipe compression fit using the nut and olive which was supplied.Their are no leaks but it just looks like i have just conected pipes to the back of my washing machine.It looks to simple and cowboyish..is this realy a standard type of fitment,it is 1000mm long i was told by 2 B&Q guys that it was suitable for my application,can i expect this flexible pipe to burst when i am on holiday?...

If you have gravity feeds you might not get much water through it. Look in the end - the ones in Wickes are all of 6mm internal diameter.
If you have a combi or unvented HW then they're a risk, check their spec.

ta chris but without sounding like a **** what is a unvented system..i do not have a combi,and the system is belived to be gravity feed into the taps this i understand i think.as for the flexi pipe it is only 10-15 mm but does not apper to affect the water flow into the bath even though it has been taken off a 22mm copper..I do have a large water tank in the loft and the standard rad header tank..What should i look for if it was to be unvented...
