Hi,

I have a smeg DI612C dishwater which has just come out warranty, and as luck would have it it's not not working. Message I get when I look up manual is AQUASTOP failure - the anti-flooding system has been activated, system has been tripped in case of water leeks.

Any ideas how I go about fixing this?

Many thanks in advance.

The base is flooded. Either leaking into base or too much foam.
Drain the base and it should reset.

Dumb question maybe but any idea how I drain the base?

Tip it backwards about 45 degrees. That should drain most of it out.

Ahhh - it's a built-in dw. Not sure I can tip it at all.
