Help with ravenheat rsf820/20 combi bolier

Hello folks im new here and i hope you guys can help me out here. i've had an engineer come over and he doesn't seems to know the problem either, the problem is that my boiler is not heating up the house i.e radiators are not working it doesn't fire up when the thermostat is turned. but the hot water is working as it should. the problem first started when i had a valve changed because when the taps where turned on my radiators worked with them i.e they where coming hot !very hot even though it was switched off on the boiler. then since i had the valve changed the central heating stoped working, it has no response(fire up) at all to the switch and thermostat,
any one knows whats wrong here. thanks . tayo

If somebody hase changed "a valve" for you and the heating did not work afterwards then the obvious thing to do is to call him back to do the job properly.

There are many things which could be at fault but the diverter valve is the prime suspect in your case!

thanks, that was what he changed the diverter valve. so could there be any thing wrong apart from that.
