glow worm heating problem

Hello All,

My central heating has deciding to pack -up today, was wondering if you could give me any pointers, I have tried to ring about 5 engineers today but none have got back to me.

The problem is the boiler will fire-up(it's a Glow-Worm Economy Plus by the way), but after about 5 minutes the thing shuts down and also knocks the pilot light off. The pump seems to be working ok but not sure about the control valve.

Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Overheat stat kicking in, cuts off pilot light.

Is pump running?

if the pumps running check for air and check the header tank is full
