Wheelchair/tiles!

Hi, an unusual question I know but here goes. Does anyone have any bad experiences with heavy electric wheelchairs cracking ceramic kitchen floor tiles

My son is in an electric wheelchair and I'm just about to choose tiles. Do you get thicker tiles or stronger ones. Any info much appreciated

i would have thought the way they are fixed also counts, they should be on a firm bed, and 100% supported

Agreed with Breezer, doesn't matter how thick or thin the floor tiles are as long they're are bedded down properly.

Shouldn't be a problem if the wheelchair have a pump-up tyre, if it a solid wheel type then I would go for a thicker tiles.
