Quarry tiles should be fine below your stove but, and this is an important but, make sure they are not in 'direct' contact with a fire hearth (naked fire on the tiles) as the tiles may well shatter sending shards in all directions. Most stoves sit on legs giving a good clearance, so if your stove is similar the use of these tiles is perfectly safe. If your house is old think about using reclaimed tiles - they'll look brilliant below the stove. Try to get some edging tiles (got curved edges) to finish-off the hearth as plain-edged tiles can easily be chipped, leaving a razor-sharp finish. If you use new tiles go for the thicker variety.
