cracks after painting

Two years ago a local decorator painted the outside rendered walls. He cleaned using a high pressure hose, applied fungicide, dried, and then applied a masonry paint.
Since then, small vertical cracks have appeared, and the paint is flaking around the cracks. I still have some paint, but how do I tackle the cracks? Advice anybody?
The original painter, though disability is unable to help.

My first thts too steve ... Or hopefully he didnt use stabiliser when he shudn't have..
